An Inside Job - Speaking from Your Insides to an Audience of One or More

As an introduction, I'll say that the popular courses on Public Speaking are about how to speak in front of people and overcome the fears that go along with that. "Private Speaking" is about taking down the mechitzas, the blocks, between you and your heart and you and your mind, so that your speech reflects who you are are, what you really feel, and how your mind experiences and perceives reality.

This has always been one of our objectives in writing seminars, except that the breakthroughs occur on paper. From my own experience and what other retreat-ers have told me, I've seen that these breakthroughs on paper-- in the writing-- become breakthroughs in a person's life, including one's ability to say what they mean; to say and articulate their real feelings.

Now we're talking about using all the tools we can, not only writing, to reach greater self-awareness and access the subsconscious. Breakthroughs inevitably follow, and before you know it, you're speaking, in the most natural way, your truths in such a way that resistance melts.
